About Us

Our Philosophy:
At Arch West Midlands, we believe in providing a dedicated service which is warm, friendly and safe. We value and empower individuals through the encouragement of independence, choice and rights and believe that they are fundamental to delivering a high standard of care.

Introduction:
Radnor Place will offer an opportunity for individuals (both adults and young persons) to live in a homely setting and have the support of trained staff to maintain their welfare, choice and support with daily living and skills. Furthermore, support with emotional needs, mental health and personal care is central to our service, whilst maintaining a level of independence at home encouraging a sense of individuality and freedom.

Radnor Place is a spacious Georgian terraced house in Handsworth, on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre and the Jewellery Quarter, with easy access to the city centre, education and recreational facilities. Ample public transport is available for the residents and is accessible at multiple points within the vicinity.

Radnor Place consists of 4 ensuite bedrooms as well as 3 communal lounges, communal dining area and a communal kitchen. The house also has a separate office / staff room and a rear private garden which is enclosed, for the residents to enjoy. These rooms are spread over the ground, first and second floors. There is ample amount of room for residents to have their needs and preferences met, and to empower them to fulfil / develop their independence and life skills.

The house is fit for purpose and has been designed to ensure comfort, a high standard of living and most of all the safety of the residents. Secondary glazing, fire doors, anti-ligature furniture and fittings, non-slip flooring, emergency lighting, CO detectors, fire alarm systems, and fob, key code, CCTV secured entrance are just some of the features in place to ensure residents feel safe in their space.

Our Mission:
We want to provide a managed service that offers a future to those who need it. We would like to encourage individuals to maintain self-respect, confidence and a lifestyle which is comfortable and at a level that they feel possible to manage independently- both in the home and accessing the local community.
We pride ourselves in providing a service that is inclusive of an individual’s holistic needs, as well as their clinical requirements and by offering this opportunity to an individual for as long as they should require by individualising, reviewing and managing their needs. The support will only be successful when we all work as a team with the healthcare service, family and/or advocate (where necessary).

At Radnor Place our staff are committed to meet our aims and objectives, which are as follows:
