About Us

296–298 Warren Farm Road is registered to provide personal care and support for up to six adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. People supported have been assessed as requiring a high level of assistance with daily living and other activities. The service is staffed 24 hours a day, including two waking night staff.
People are admitted following a comprehensive assessment to ensure the service can meet their individual needs. Support plans are developed and regularly reviewed to reflect people’s preferences, risks, and outcomes. Access to a full range of healthcare services is supported, alongside opportunities for leisure and social activities.
The home has been adapted to meet the assessed needs of people using the service. This includes hoists and ceiling-track hoists, moving and handling equipment, and wide doorways and corridors to enable wheelchair access throughout the building and gardens. A visual alert system linked to the front doorbell and fire alarm is in place to support people with hearing impairments.
Communal areas include an open-plan lounge, activity and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with height-adjustable workspaces to promote independence and inclusion. The property also benefits from a front garden and a private, enclosed rear garden. Each bedroom is furnished and includes an en-suite wet room.
The home is located in Kingstanding, a residential area of Birmingham, with good access to local amenities and public transport. People are supported to maintain relationships with family members and to engage with the local community.
People’s care and support needs are continuously monitored and reviewed. Appropriate action is taken to arrange health and wellbeing appointments and to respond to any changes in need or emerging concerns.
Due to the complex needs of individuals, a range of personalised communication methods are used, tailored to each person. These include British Sign Language (BSL), hand-under-hand guidance, visual cards, and objects of reference to support understanding and choice.
