Whitehaven support people whose primary need is learning disabilities, they may have a dual diagnosis of mental health. The service provides to each individual Service User person centered care planning, SMART goal setting, liaising with all relevant agencies to ensure a holistic approach to their care and to ‘live’ in a homely setting away from clinical experiences they may have experienced in their past.
We encourage them to relax in the home-like environment that we work hard to create. Families and friends are welcome to visit the home by appointment or drop-in at any time to see their relatives or friends. Whitehaven House is a large detached house situated in a quiet residential area of Felpham just outside of Bognor Regis.

field a very short walk away. A petrol station, pub, small play park and further convenience stores and mini supermarkets are located just a short walk away.
Whitehaven House has a large, driveway to the front and a spacious, lawned garden to the rear.
Inside, there is a generous lounge area, with a smaller quiet lounge area. There is a separate dining area and a fitted kitchen, with communal toilets and bathrooms.
Part of the house has been converted into 2 self-contained apartments, with a bathroom, which assists service users to step forward into a more independent lifestyle without having to take the full step into supported living, this proves a good transition. The home is set over two floors, with a working lift to support the
less mobile.
