About Us
Willowcare is a private care company based in Suffolk dedicated to providing care and support to adults in the community.
Willowcare’s vision is to provide the best quality domiciliary care, to adults that require care and support, to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. We, the company will accommodate our service around the individual’s life routine, likes and dislikes, ensuring they feel safe and confident in the care that we provide.
Willowcare ensures that people are partners in decisions about their own care. This is fundamental to improving quality, giving people a more holistic personalised offer. An offer that meets their needs, but also builds capacity to retain control and independence, and continue to achieve the best possible quality of life. By working in this way, we can make sure that people are truly listened to and are kept at the heart of all decision-making. Practices are used in teams to ensure that we focus on what matters to the people we support and their families and pay attention to supporting staff as well.
Willowcare will monitor the care provided and ensure it continues to meet their needs at all times. This means putting people at the centre of decisions, working alongside professionals to achieve the best possible outcome. Willowcare will protect service users from abuse and harm.
Willowcare will consider peoples desires, values, family situations, social circumstances and lifestyles, seeing the person as an individual, and working together to develop appropriate solutions. Being compassionate and respectful of individual needs and wishes.
Willowcare enforces a set of approaches designed to assist someone to plan their life and support. We use an individual care planning model to enable individuals with disabilities or otherwise requiring support to increase their personal self- determination and improve their own independence.
The service users’ needs and requirements will be discussed and a plan of care will be developed which includes details of our visit time to the service user and what tasks they would like to be carried out during our visits. During this visit we will carry out risk assessments to ensure the health and safety of service users and staff are minimised. The risk assessments and development of the care plan shall be carried out by the manager. We will review the care package initially at four weeks, or more frequently if needed, to ensure we are meeting the needs and wishes of the service user.
Willowcare works in an outcome-based person-centred way. Willowcare promotes an open and fair culture.
All staff will be professionally trained, experienced in care, and with good communication skills. Staff are a key element to person – centred care. We would like our staff to carry the same vision as the company. Staff are guided and monitored to ensure they are compassionate, kind and respectful at all times.
