About Us
Quiet Waters supports six adults with learning disabilities and associated needs, offering a warm and inclusive environment. The people we support are encouraged to learn new skills and enjoy various opportunities tailored to their preferences.
Activities include options like shopping, swimming, bowling, and outings to parks, cinemas, and pubs. Additional activities focused on health and education are identified through assessments and detailed in individual care plans. The people we support have access to educational and training courses, such as sports fitness, maths, English, art, gardening, and travel awareness.
The home provides six single rooms, each with en-suite facilities, allowing personalisation to suit individual tastes. Shared spaces include a lounge, dining room, quiet room, activity room, and kitchen, all accessible with support. During spring and summer, our housmates are encouraged to participate in maintaining a vegetable patch.
