Bay Court Nursing Home is a residential and nursing home in the area of Budleigh Salterton, which can accommodate just under 30 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC with Outstanding for responsiveness. The home is run two managers Tracey Hughes RN is the Clinical Manager and Vicky Meredith is the Non-Clinical Manager, both have been with Bay Court for many years. The home is privately owned by Dominique and Kevin Lloyd they live with their family in Somerset, Dominique is in Bay Court through the week.
Bay Court Nursing Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care, respite care and intermediate care all over seen by our experienced nursing team with the back up of excellent carers. We also have a dedicated kitchen team headed up by our lead cook who enjoys creating meals with the residents individual requests as the forefront. The domestic team work hard with both the cleaning and in house laundry.
You can enjoy Bay Court Nursing Home's garden or spend time in the lounge or dining room. This home places a focus on resident wellbeing and offers indoor activities, outings and daily newspapers. The activities team love to take residents out to the nearby sea front for ice cream or coffee and cake. There are wheelchair assessable local cafes which can be a great outing to meet a loved one or enjoy one of the freshly baked cakes. There are many regular music sessions and Bay Court enjoys parties to celebrate birthdays, national events, fund raising, many Christmas parties as well as spring and summer parties in the wheel assessable garden where loved ones are encouraged to join in. There is a lift, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to wifi throughout the home and a post service.
Bay Court Nursing Home offers some en-suite rooms and residents can feel even more at home here if they want to use their own furniture. All residents are encouraged to bring personal items and our maintenance person will help put up treasured pictures and photographs. Pets are welcome throughout the home and in rooms, please discuss individually if you would like your pet to live with you. One of our managers brings her dog into work and his visits are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
