About Us
A1 Homecare is a small private company, we are based in the centre of Chelmsford. We have a team of reliable care assistants, who complete the mandatory training as well as other additional courses including dementia care, stoma care and catheter care. Our office team are all trained to the same standard as our care assistants. We have a dementia interpreter, a sensory champion , a dignity champion and a safeguard lead within our team. All staff have DBS (police) checks prior to starting.
A lot of our new clients come to us having been referred by someone else using our service. We use an electronic system so everything is up to date and information can be changed and relayed to our care staff immediately.
We have a range of staff of all ages and have male and female care staff, many of our staff have worked here for a number of years ensuring we are able to provide continuity of staff. Our office team operate the out of hours function in the evenings and during the weekend. Our registered manager Nicky has worked with us for over 13 years and has previously experience of working for the NHS for over 25 years.
