About Us
Adada is an established provider of care and support services, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across care at home, complex community care, night services and reablement-led support. We work in close partnership with local authorities, the NHS and families to support people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes and communities.
Since 2019, Adada has been a trusted provider for Cheshire West and Chester Council, initially as a framework provider and later appointed as a Prime Provider in 2022. This appointment reflected our ability to respond effectively to the national social care workforce crisis, maintain service continuity and safely grow capacity where local demand increased. We currently deliver over 4,000 hours of care per week and employ over 100 care workers supported by more than 30 head office staff across operations, quality, HR, training, recruitment, payroll and finance.
Adada supports people with a wide range of needs, including older adults, people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, long-term conditions and complex health needs such as PEG feeding, stoma care and end-of-life support. Our approach is rooted in enablement and reablement, focusing on doing with rather than doing for. We support people to regain skills, achieve outcomes and maintain independence wherever possible, working closely with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and community nursing services.
Quality and safety sit at the heart of our service. We have maintained a Good CQC rating for over six years and achieved a Good PAAMS assessment in 2025. We use the Birdie digital care management system to support real-time care records, medication management, auditing and quality oversight. Birdie’s Q Score quality tool mirrors the CQC key questions and rating model and has consistently rated Adada as Good, with Outstanding performance in care planning, medication management and responsiveness.
Workforce development is a key strength. Adada holds a Home Office Skilled Worker Sponsorship Licence, which has enabled us to recruit and retain a stable workforce since 2021. Ninety-eight percent of our care staff are enrolled on Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care qualifications. Training is delivered through our sister company, Adada Recruitment and Training Services, an NCFE-accredited training centre. This allows us to deliver prompt induction, ongoing mandatory training and specialist learning in areas such as safeguarding, mental capacity, autism, learning disabilities, moving and handling and positive behaviour support.
Adada is known for strong partnership working, transparency and responsiveness. We maintain open relationships with commissioners, safeguarding teams and regulators, raise concerns appropriately and share learning through provider forums and quality networks. We are committed to continuous improvement, reflective practice and innovation, ensuring our services remain safe, effective and responsive to changing needs.
Above all, Adada is driven by a clear purpose: to support people to live well, safely and with choice in their own homes, supported by skilled, compassionate teams who place dignity, respect and independence at the centre of everything they do.
