HomeCare Direct – Personalised Care and Complex Support at Home
HomeCare Direct is a nationwide domiciliary care provider based in the Dunston Road area of Chesterfield. Rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we provide high-quality, person-centred care that enables people to live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible in their own homes.
We support adults and, where appropriate, young people from around age 12+, with access to clinical oversight including paediatric nursing expertise. Every care package is individually assessed and tailored around the person’s needs, preferences, routines, clinical requirements, and personal goals.
Our services include companionship, personal care, medication support, meal preparation, shopping, domestic tasks, social inclusion, appointments, 24-hour care, live-in care, complex care, and palliative or end of life support. We support people with a wide range of needs, including physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, complex health conditions, neurological conditions, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and mental health needs.
For each package, we develop detailed care, recruitment, and training plans to ensure staff are appropriately matched, prepared, and supported. We are committed to dignity, choice, safety, equality, and inclusion, offering culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ inclusive care, with consideration of male or female carers, communication needs, and pet support where appropriate.
We work with a range of funding arrangements, including self-funding, Local Authority funding, Local Authority funding with top-up, and NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.
