While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, respite and post-operative care.
The home comprises 40 light and airy bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, and 5 relaxing day rooms. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms allow residents to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the home's guest entertainers or recline in front of their favourite film.
At Belmont Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art workshops, handicrafts, flower arranging and musical evenings. In the warmer weather, they make use of their therapeutic garden environment by enjoying garden parties and barbecues. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Their residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and a local park all within a short distance.
