Cranleigh is an eight bed residential home situated in the beautiful coastal town of Cromer, Norfolk. We offer high-quality, personalized care and support for adults with learning disabilities and associated mental health needs. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and homely environment where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to live the life they want.
Our goal is to support people to achieve further independence, maintain good health, and lead fulfilling lives. We offer person-centred care tailored to each individual’s unique needs, preferences, and aspirations. Cranleigh's last CQC rating was "good".

Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for adults with learning disabilities. One where they can live with dignity, autonomy, and respect. Our staff are trained to deliver good quality care and support that promotes independence, and well-being.
We work to ensure each person is seen as an individual, their choices and needs are central to the care they receive, and their voice is heard. We maintain a family-like atmosphere, and respect how much or how little each person wishes to immerse themselves in this. Everyone is treated with compassion, kindness &respect.

Services We Provide
Cranleigh is registered with CQC to provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care.
This is considered a regulated activity because it could affect people’s safety or dignity.
We provides a range of services tailored to the needs of the people using our service, including:
• Personal Care and Hygiene including bathing, dressing, and maintaining good hygiene.
• Medication Management - Support with medication administration, including the safe storage, ordering and handling of prescribed treatments.
• Health Management - Assistance in managing health appointments, liaising with GPs, specialists, and other health professionals.
• Recreational Activities - Support to engage in meaningful activities such as arts and crafts, sports, outings, and social events as each person chooses.
• Nutrition and Dietary Support - Assistance with meal planning, preparation, and maintaining a healthy diet. We encourage the learning of cooking skills, and aim to educate service users around healthy eating.
• Learning and Development - Where possible we look to support service users to access educational opportunities, should they wish to do so.
• Emotional and Mental Health Support - Providing a supportive environment for mental well-being, including access to mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and emotional support.
• Personal Interests and Hobbies - Support to develop hobbies, try new activities, and explore interests such as gardening, music, or sports.
• Support to manage finances and valuable assets – people using the service are supported to manage their banking, ingoings and outgoings, liaising with various benefits teams, safe storage of documents and items of value and security (passports, birth certificates etc).

The Home Environment
Cranleigh is a Victorian terrace house with 8 bedrooms, plus a sleep in staff room. Each bedroom equipped with everything an individual will likely need to feel comfortable and secure. We have:
• An enclosed garden.
• A quiet side garden.
• Comfortable communal areas for socializing, relaxing, and participating in activities.
• Dining area big enough for all service users and staff to enjoy a meal together.
• Proximity to local amenities such as shops, public transport, and the beach, enhancing opportunities for social interaction and community engagement.
• Transport links to other local towns and villages as well as to Norwich where further transport links are available around the country.
• Homes vehicle which is available for authorized staff to use in order to support out and about in the community and to appointments as needed.
