About Us
As a local charity, we are rooted in the communities we serve, and what we do is quite simple - we support people who are living with dementia in their own homes, helping them to maintain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
We see the person, and create and run services from day clubs, to one-to-one support, to a singing or art group, where people can be themselves. Where choice and dignity are preserved and our time together is creative, productive and meaningful.
Our one-to-one Home Support Service provides professional, compassionate support tailored to individual needs. Memory loss does not have to result in social isolation. Our skilled team are passionate about enhancing independence, wellbeing and dignity. We offer personalised care options from companionship and sit-in services, to help with shopping, food preparation, escorted community trips and respite for carers. We understand the importance of cultural and spiritual preferences and can provide support in line with your values and beliefs. With male and female carers available – and all our staff pet-friendly – our service is truly tailored to your lifestyle.
The service is run by a team of regional managers who each organise the service in a different part of the county. They stay in close contact with families and offer advice and support throughout the dementia journey.
Our reputation for excellence is reflected in our 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission, and national recognition as ‘Best Team’ at the Dementia Care Awards. This ethos of always going the extra mile is at the heart of everything we do.
We accept a range of funding options including private individuals, Local Authority (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare. Hourly rates start from £27.00.
Choosing care at home with Beyond Dementia means placing trust in a professional service dedicated to supporting families with warmth, respect and expertise. If you would like to know more, please contact us to discuss your needs – we are here to help.
