About Us
Bullsmoor Lodge is a purpose-built care home for residential and dementia care, with 48 ensuite bedrooms. Opening in 1997, the home is situated at the end of Bullsmoor Lane close to the Hertford Road at Waltham Cross, with Waltham Cross main shopping centre just a short walk away.
Immediately upon walking into Bullsmoor Lodge, you will experience a warm welcoming environment. The feeling of space has been built into the design, with easy access from the entrance hall through into the main Lounge and Dining Room, and then on to the spacious rear garden which is secluded and sunny, with patio and lawn areas. There is a separate quiet lounge to the rear of the property. All bedrooms are light and airy with a homely yet modern character. Each has ensuite facilities with a private telephone, television facility and an emergency call system.
There is ease of access throughout the building with two modern passenger lifts and the manager’s office is situated on the ground floor immediately by the entrance hall.
Residents can attend a wide variety of activities, events and outings, such as flower arranging, book clubs, knitting circles, coffee mornings and more. There are communal sitting rooms where residents will sit and chat, or for those who prefer relaxing in a quieter space, a quiet lounge and a garden with a patio. Residents can also choose to relax in their own room, where staff will regularly look in with offers of drinks or food.
Bullsmoor Lodge does not operate set visiting times – the home is open for visitors to come and see their loved ones at any time.
If you would like to visit and look around before considering a stay, it is recommended that you call ahead to arrange, just so that the home can ensure there is a member of staff on hand to answer any questions.
