About Us
We are a small independent care company made up of three directors, two from long standing management, employment and teaching in the care sector and one retired officer from the Northumbria Police Force specialising in safeguarding. We want to be able to offer a more comprehensive person-centred care package, that is tailored to the individual needs of each of our clients and is specific to their wishes. We decided to start our own business so that we could be more flexible with the type of care we could offer to individuals and not have to confirm these with a ‘head office’ or ‘franchise’ before creating our clients’ care package. We want our clients to benefit from this flexibility so you can remain in your home and live the way you want to. Being an independent provider gives us that ability to do just this.
WSB Care is registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and have been rated as ‘LIKELY TO BE GOOD’ during registration and are awaiting our full inspection. We have been inspected by Norfolk County Council through their PAMMS Quality Auditing Program (based on CQC Standards). We have been graded as overall ‘GOOD’. WSB Care have also been awarded a contract with the NHS CCG (NHS Clinical Commissioning Group for Norfolk and Waveney). All our employees are fully trained and receive regular updates and supervisions during their time with us. All of our employees have enhanced DBS certificates which allow them to work with adults.
We would require a deposit of £500.00 which would go towards the cost of the initial visits, after which, invoices would then become payable. Invoices are fortnightly and paid through a standing order, BACs payment or cheque. We would need to come out and visit prior to commencing care so that we can put a care plan together and complete a risk assessment.
