About Us
Gibraltar road is a homely 10 bedded service, we pride ourselves on having a long standing staff team who know the people we support well, we have had people within our service live with us for over 30 years, we are known as a long residing home for those with learning disabilities, we currently support individuals aged 50-71, we have activity staff as well as drivers, alongside our supportive nursing and support team, we also have a home manager and clinical lead. Unlike other homes we offer daily day trips, 1to1 sessions into the community, and holidays. Due to us only being a small home we pride ourselves in treating the service like a home away from home, ensuring there is no institutionalised care and breaking away from tradition. We have great relationships with external teams, advocates, families and those we support. We have been renovating now for over 2 years and have improved the building drastically to fit the needs of the people we support. We have large rooms, lounges and garden spaces.
