About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

We are a Domiciliary care business operating in the Kirklees area, and our vision and aim is to be the best service provider for our service users, we promise to always deliver prestige care with great confidence by always putting our service users needs first.

PERSONAL CARE

At all times our carers encourage the service users to do as much for themselves as possible. Their goal is to provide assistance and promote independence. By allowing and encouraging them to do what they can for themselves, the carer will encourage your loved one and help them gain confidence in tasks which they may be able to manage without help.

Olive Tree Care’s carers can assist service users in and out of the bath, with appropriate aids as needed, maintaining a safe and clean environment. Assistance can be provided with washing and dressing as well as help with other issues. If the service user has difficulty remembering to take their medication, our carers can remind them at the correct time. You can be reassured that the medication will be the correct dosage, has not already been taken and will be accurately recorded. All expiry dates for medication will be checked and medication will be stored correctly and safely to ensure it is not damaged.

It may be that your relative is not physically able to take their medication. Carers can assist with dossett boxes, blister packs. They can also offer assistance with prescriptions and medications that require collection from the chemist. Olive Tree Care’s carers can deal with all situations including alerting the medical team or calling the emergency services as required.

INFORMATION FOR SERVICE USERS

Our service is designed to be delivered at times when a service user wants and needs it.
We recognise the importance of time well-spent with a service user. That is why our minimum visit time is 30 minutes. Our visits can be much longer if require we always agree the length of time with each service user, as part of their assessment, and this includes taking account of the service users financial means.
We provide services during the day, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays and can also consider requests for waking nights, sleeping in and short-term respite / live in care.
We are very careful in matching our Care Support Workers to Service User services and take into account our service user wishes and needs when carrying out the initial assessment.

OUR CARERS

Our Care Support Workers are recruited for their skills, knowledge and experience. Most importantly we recruit workers who have the right attitude and values towards giving care and support.
We currently have a growing Care Support Workers team working part time and full time hours. We have Care Support Workers that are available to work throughout the daytime, evening, weekends, waking nights and sleep ins and short term live-in respite services.
