About Us
Mobile Care was established in February 1998, and we quickly expanded to become one of the largest, reliable and professional Companies in the area, supplying many clients with varying needs throughout Herefordshire. Our Diverse services are offered to any one over the age of 18 who need help and assistance with everyday needs such as personal care, meal preparation, administration of medicines, companionship and any task that will enable a better quality of life. Our employees are expected and supported to achieve a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, but also complete an induction, all basic Induction training (the care certificate if required) to include practical and theory involvement before starting in the community unsupervised. For the protection of clients all staff are to complete Manual Handling training, Fire Awareness, Health & Safety, infection control, medication training, protection of vulnerable adults, Care standards, deprivation of liberties and Human Rights and Food Hygiene & Nutritional requirements. Also training on the mental capacity act, Diabetes, Sepsis awareness, all types of Dementia, catheter care, GDPR plus many more courses are available to all our staff. All staff are frequently offered further and refresher training as and when required and in-house competence courses on relevant illnesses.
