About Us
The Grange Care Home is a home in the New Herrington area of Houghton Le Spring, which can accommodate 35 residents situated on two floors. Care can be provided for those with Early stage Dementia. The Grange Care Home also offers short stay respite care services.
The Grange care home also supports with Palliative and end of life care allowing service users to remain at their home surrounded by familiarity and comfort at this later stage of life.
The Grange care home is modernly renovated with all rooms on suit with own shower and wash room facilities.
The Grange also have communal bathroom with modern hoist supported bath facilities in place and is wheelchair accessible.
There is a recently renovated electric elevator and a stair lift on the manual stairwells for those preferring this means of transport to the first floor level
The Grange have large outdoor garden facilities available with terrace area's provided and a light and modern newly built conservatory opens up onto large grass garden area.
We have a private car park on site and have local amenities including cafe's, shops, public transport services and pubs.
The Grange Care home prides itself on its community based active lifestyle with staff providing daily stimulating activities, outings, events and seasonal fates and fayres open to the public
