About Us
**Welcome to Ely Diocesan Association for Deaf People (Cambridgeshire Deaf Association)**
Located conveniently in Huntingdon, we are proud to offer a wide range of high-quality home care (domiciliary care) services to Deaf adults across Cambridgeshire and beyond. With a prestigious ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and an ‘Excellent’ award from the Local Authority PAMMS, you can be assured of exceptional care for yourself or your loved one.
Our experienced team provides compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs in British Sign Language. We support a variety of requirements, including dementia, physical disabilities, sensory and dual-sensory impairments, complex health conditions, mental health needs, learning disabilities, cancer care, and more. Care is available for adults aged 18 and above, including older people and those with challenging behaviour or specialist needs.
We offer flexible options including hourly care from £26.00, 24-hour and live-in care, respite services for carers, companionship, domestic help, escorted trips, medication support, and bespoke personal care. Male and female carers are available, and we can provide two carers for each visit if needed. Our service is pet friendly and respects your routines, preferences, and dignity at every step.
Proud to be specialists in communication, we offer services in English, British Sign Language, and Total Communication approach, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard. We do not currently offer care and support for people who don't use British Sign Language, or those that can hear.
We accept a variety of funding options, including self-funding, local authority funding (with or without top-up), and NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
If you are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional care at home, contact us today to discuss your needs and how we can help you or your loved one to live life to the full—safely and comfortably at home.
