About Us

Care & Homes is a CQC-registered 24-hour Supported Living care provider. We are open to provide home care as well, subject to location. We deliver person-centred support for individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, whose needs arise from autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and/or physical disabilities.

Our staff and management team are fully trained and experienced in supporting individuals with complex conditions, including those with comorbid diagnoses.

We are currently actively working with five local authorities: Redbridge, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Barking and Dagenham. We also accept patients on the D2A pathway from across the country, and private clients.

Our approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in dignity, choice, and safeguarding. In addition to our core provision, Care & Homes offers a niche specialist LGBTQ+ service for Muslim individuals, designed to support people who may experience complex challenges related to identity, faith, family relationships, or social exclusion. This service is delivered with strict confidentiality and a deep understanding of cultural and religious sensitivities. Understanding intersectionality underpins everything we do.

We are reaching beyond the area in which we are based, recognising that sometimes people need to relocate to make a fresh start. We work in collaboration with local third-sector LGBTQ+ organisations to support individuals in building a new life.

We are LGBTQ+ inclusive, not exclusive, and therefore we are open to receive referrals for all service users, not only those from LGBTQ+ community.

About The Team

All staff employed by our service hold valid DBS clearance. All staff complete and maintain current Infection Prevention and Control training to support safe care delivery.
