About Us

My name is Danielle Millan, I am the owner and Managing Director, and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to my company. Elfcare is a local independent company, based in West Hallam, offering quality care and support to Service Users in their own homes. Our services are bespoke to each individual and their specific needs and wishes.

Elfcare was established in May 2015 by myself, initially operating as a home help service offering a range of domestic support to people in their own homes. In October 2018 we registered with The Care Quality Commission and expanded our services to provide personal care.

Our team has since grown with the addition and development of experienced, dedicated care staff, allowing us to support a range of individuals in the community. The team now consists of a small group of Care Assistants, several Team Leaders, a Deputy Manager and myself as the Care Manager. In addition, we have an Office Co-ordinator and Company Chairman.

Each member of staff has been carefully selected to ensure they have the correct values, knowledge and compassion to uphold Elfcare’s high standards and provide a truly caring service. We have a thorough recruitment process including an enhanced criminal record check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), references, and full induction and ongoing training for all staff.

Our Service Users are those who, because of increasing age, illness or disability, find it difficult to cope with domestic responsibilities and their own personal care needs.
