Overview
Elton Park is located in the heart of Ipswich within 10 minutes’ drive from the town centre and in a cul-de-sac private road. The home has its own carl park for the residents families.
We are an independent and individual home priding ourselves on the very high quality care and accommodation we offer. We are registered for 35 users with 35 single rooms and all of them with ensuite facilities. The residents rooms are across two floors: ground floor and first floor with 27 rooms are located on the ground floor. The Bedrooms and communal areas are finished to a high standard. Communal areas include the large comfortably furnished lounge with television, video and music centre. The dining room has sky window to allow natural light, spacious, and has sufficient room. Our secluded rear garden provides opportunities for peace and quiet for our residents, a place to enjoy and entertain their family and friends. There is also a spacious conservatory for the residents to enjoy warmth without going outside. All of our facilities are serviced and maintained to provide a safe home for our residents and a safe place to work for our staff. Please visit photo gallery to see for yourself the quality of the facilities.
At Elton Park, residents are encouraged to bring their own small items of furniture, pictures, photographs, and ornaments in order to make their room their own. Residents have access to all areas of the home via a passenger lift. We offer residential and dementia care to older people with varying levels of needs. All of our residents have their own personal care plan, recognizing their individual needs and wishes. We provide freshly home cooked hot lunch with varied choices that meet the needs of our residents. We run a varied programme of activities prepared and designed to provide entertainment, and stimulation for our residents.
Elton Park has an ambience of warm, caring and homely environment needed by the elderly residents within our care. We have qualified, experienced, and friendly staff who care for our residents like family. The care staff are accredited to meet the care standards for a good care home.
The home is regulated by CQC. We are also inspected by the local authority, fire authority, food standards authority and conduct regular meetings with the local social services team to make improvements.
We aim to enhance quality of life by enabling residents in our care to make informed choices about their daily life. We actively engage with residents and relatives, encouraging regular feedback and ensuring the people in our care are as independent as possible.
