About Us
**Welcome to Dudley Crossroads – Compassionate Home Care in Kingswinford**
At Dudley Crossroads, based on the The Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, we are proud to provide person-centred domiciliary care so you or your loved one can remain safe, comfortable, and well-supported at home. With an overall 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), you can be assured of our commitment to high standards and reliable, compassionate support. We are a Registered Charity established in 1982 covering the whole of the Dudley Borough and the Kinver area.
We provide respite care to informal (unpaid) carers, We can help by visiting the home for a 2 - 3 hour call once a week and stayhing with the person who needs care, providing respite care while the carer goes out. During this time we can do housework, prepare meals and drinks, take people to appointments and other small tasks.
We also run an elderly Support Service. This is for individuals who may find everyday tasks difficult and want to remain independent in their own homes.
We support adults aged 18 and over, including older adults, those living with physical disabilities, complex health needs, dementia (including Alzheimer’s), sensory impairments, mental health challenges, and more. Our carers are trained to offer tailored assistance whether it’s personal care, medication support, companionship, domestic help, nutritious meal preparation, pet-friendly visits, or support for rehabilitation and convalescence.
Dudley Crossroads is proud to have team members who have received recognition such as being shortlisted for the Dudley Borough Community Awards’ Care Hero of the Year and receiving Certificates of Appreciation from Mary Stevens Hospice.
We understand that everyone’s needs are individual, which is why our carers embrace diversity and offer cultural, faith, and LGBTQ+ inclusive support. We welcome both private (self-funding) clients and those eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), with hourly prices starting from just £23.50. We are a Registered Charity and operate a "not for profit" policy which makes our prices reasonable compared to other agencies.
Our services range from short respite care for family carers, through to regular visits or full support for those living with advanced needs or at end of life.
Choosing Dudley Crossroads means choosing dignity, independence and compassionate care – in the place you call home.
