Alderbrook Care Home is a purpose-built nursing home in the Shadwell Lane area of Leeds, which can accommodate 40 residents.
Care can be provided for those with dementia, complex health conditions and nursing requirements. Alderbrook Care Home also offers the following short stay services and respite care.

Following a complete renovation and refurbishment, Silver Lodge has recently opened. The rest of the home with a total of 160 beds is due to open in 2025. The home is set in a peaceful area surrounded by trees providing lovely views from every window.

You can enjoy Alderbrook Care Home's garden or spend time in the lounge, dining room or café. This home places a focus on resident wellbeing and offers indoor activities, outings and daily newspapers. There is a lift, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to WIFI throughout the home and a post service.

Alderbrook Care Home offers some en-suite rooms and residents can feel even more at home here if they want to use their own furniture. Pets are welcome throughout the home and in rooms.

Following admission, the care team take the time to really get to know each resident and understand their wants and needs to ensure they retain as much independence as possible, whilst being always supported and treated with respect and dignity. We take time to get to know our residents to understand their lives and loves, their interests and their triggers, to offer comfort, calm and support to live and thrive at Alderbrook.

Our team are widely experienced and passionate about caring for adults living with dementia. We understand the complexities of the different subtypes of dementia. We treat every resident with respect, support their wishes and help to ease any anxiety or distress that may arise as as symptoms worsen and to ensure they always feel safe.

Plans are created to meet each person’s desired outcomes, and we adapt these plans as someone’s health and needs change. We combine any medical needs with our holistic thinking around care, bringing in essential and appropriate social interactions, nutrition and physical activities to all work together to contribute to a personal care plan.

Alderbrook Care Home has nearby key medical facilities including a hospital, a GP and a Pharmacy. It has good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket, bank, cinema and pub can also be found in the area.
