Overview
Welcome to Leyland Lodge
Located in the heart of Leyland, Leyland Lodge is a specialist care home providing high-quality, person-centred support for adults with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health Needs. In addition to long-term residential care, we offer a variety of short-stay services, including respite care, intermediate care, and rehabilitation support.
At Leyland Lodge, we are committed to delivering a warm, inclusive, and professional care experience. Whether a person is staying with us permanently or for a shorter period, they are welcomed into a homely environment that values individuality, independence, and dignity.
We believe it’s the little things that make a big difference. Our dedicated staff take the time to get to know each resident personally—understanding their preferences, routines, and interests to ensure a truly tailored approach. Whether enjoying quiet time or participating in social activities, each individual is supported to live with choice, comfort, and connection.
All staff members at Leyland Lodge are highly qualified, compassionate, and experienced. We invest in a robust, ongoing training programme to maintain excellence in care delivery, in line with the latest best practices and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
A Specialist Approach to Complex Needs
We are proud to have a skilled, compassionate team who are equipped to support individuals with complex behavioural challenges through a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework. Our in-house Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Lead, and Therapy Team work collaboratively with care staff to deliver high-quality, outcomes-focused care.
Our Therapy Team—comprised of a Positive Behaviouralist and experienced Service Managers—develop and deliver structured, meaningful activities designed to promote personal growth and wellbeing. With specialist training in:
• PROACT-SCIPr-UK (distraction and diversion techniques)
• Moving and Handling
• Care Planning & Capacity Assessments
• Community Inclusion and Social Engagement
They ensure that each person receives comprehensive, therapeutic, and empowering support.
At Leyland Lodge, we celebrate individuality and empower every resident to live a safe, fulfilling, and as independent a life as possible. Our values and ethos are at the heart of everything we do—and by investing in our team, we ensure the people we support receive the care they truly deserve.
