About Us

Turkish Cypriot Community Association (TCCA) established in 1976, the Charity is a Company Limited by Guarantee (Company Number 3851759) with Charity Status (Charity Number 1080926), and more recently it became registered with Locality (Locality 03063). In terms of turnover and staffing TCCA is the largest Turkish Speaking charity in the UK.As a charity it has been providing culturally, linguistically, and religiously sensitive services to Turkish Cypriot community. It also serves other who describe themselves as Cypriot and Turkish Speaking that reside in the UK. TCCA operates from three premises.TC HOMECARE Turkish Cypriot Homecare was established in 1993 and has continued to provide culturally, linguistically, and religiously sensitive care for nearly 30 years. We provide care to the elderly and to people with disabilities, ensuring that individuals can continue to live in their own homes independently, and in a dignified manner whilst maintaining their safety. TC Homecare currently works within the Hackney, Islington, Haringey, Enfield, NHS, CHC and Waltham Forest boroughs, and has several private clients. As with previous years, we see a continuation in the need for palliative care. Our care staff complete an initial induction training before starting work, followed by an assortment of trainings such as Medication, Safe Guarding, COSHH, Challenging Behaviour, Communication, Dementia and Mental Health, Duty of Care, Equality and Diversity, Fire Safety, Fluid and Nutrition, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Moving and Repositioning, Peg and Pump Feed, Recording Reporting and Confidentiality, Tissue Viability and Person Centre Care and Dignity.

About The Team

All staff employed by our service hold valid DBS clearance. All staff complete and maintain current Infection Prevention and Control training to support safe care delivery. We are able to provide services in Turkish to meet individual communication needs. For additional information regarding the team, please get in touch.
