About Us

Why BBcare10 Exists – In Memory of Brody
BBcare10 was created in loving memory of my beautiful son, Brody, who passed away at the age of 10.
Brody was the life of every party and always made it very clear that he was the centre of attention! Despite his additional needs and countless hospital stays, Brody lived life to the absolute fullest. His infectious smile could light up the darkest of rooms and lift any heavy mood. He had a special way of making everyone feel loved—and seen.
He was cheeky, funny, and full of mischief—a little monkey who’d secretly bite chunks out of his fingers when he thought no one was looking! But most of all, Brody gave so much love to everyone who met him.
BBcare10 was born from my experience as Brody’s mum. I know just how hard it was to find the right carer—someone I could trust completely to care for him in a way that felt safe, warm, and familiar. Because as a parent, I needed those precious moments of respite to be able to breathe—to take a bubble bath, enjoy a coffee, or catch up on some much-needed sleep.
Respite care isn’t just for your loved one—it’s for you too.
It’s about having the space to recharge after being up for three nights straight… to take your other children to their activities… to feel like you again, even just for a little while.
When you're a parent or carer in a complex care situation, you don’t just wear one hat—you become the nurse, the doctor, the dietitian… everything—on top of being mum, dad, sibling, or partner. And that’s why the right support matters so much.
At BBcare10, our mission is to provide trusted, compassionate care—the kind of care I so desperately needed for Brody. Our team understands how personal this is. We are here to fit in with your family, ease the journey, and offer care with the same love and attention you give every day.
