Headroomgate Care Home is conveniently located for the local shops and the promenade. The home provides care for just 19 residents. The home has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The home has a large spacious lounge on the ground floor which is tastefully decorated with comfortable chairs and a large smart television. The home has a large dining room on the ground floor, which has a beautiful large bay window from which the residents can relax and enjoy the views of the garden and watch the passers-by. Both rooms have an original fireplace and a feature coal effect fire which gives the room a traditional cosy feel.

The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. All rooms are unique, some with washbasin facilities only, others with en-suite. Residents can bring personal items and small items of furniture to personalise the bedroom. The home has both a shower and a bath, which are fitted with facilities to make them suitable for those residents with mobility difficulties. All bedrooms are easily accessible via the four-person passenger lift.

A choice of menu is available at each meal. Special diets can be catered for. Each meal is freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients. The menu is both wholesome and varied, providing a well-balanced diet.

There is a beautiful secure garden at the front of the home which provides a safe place for the residents to enjoy. There is also a secure decked area, furnished with table and chairs, where during the summer months, the residents can enjoy the sunshine and the breath-taking sea air. The decking can be easily accessed from the lounge.

A varied activities programme is provided including regular entertainers, trips out and crafts. The home provides person-centred activities that are tailored to each individual resident.
