  • MUST Silver Standard award. This is through working in partnership with Middlesbrough authority who audit us and certify what standard of nutrition and hydration we provide to the people we support. We have won a Gold standard and two silver standards since implementing them to this service. This means the people we support are screened accurately to determine the risk of malnutrition. All people we support are assessed of their nutritional needs on admission and reviewed annually. All staff have received appropriate training to their role. Appropriate dietary interventions, which follow South Tees guidance are provided to the people we support. All people we support are provided appestising, nutritionally balanced meals, drinks and snacks. Audit processes in place to ensure screening is completed correctly. Consultation of menu development with the people we support and families is evidenced and the home is identified nutrition champion and nutrition boards with which we display up to date information.
