Overview
Lunesdale House is a small family run residential care home. We pride ourselves on the high standards of care. We have an amazing team of wonderful carers who's experience covers all aspects of care one would expect to find in a care home setting. Most of our carers have been in place supporting our residents for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on the fact that our staff choose to stay with us. Our staff turnover is among the lowest, and that makes caring for our residents a seamless task, full of joy for both, the carer and the cared for. 90% of our staff are local people with English as their native language, however, we also have speakers of other languages such as Arabic, Hebrew and Romanian among our pool of talented and dedicated carers.
We are located an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, away from any city centre noise and activities. If peace is what you're looking for, you'll be hard challenged to find a match. At Lunesdale House, we only have 19 rooms, therefore, our care attention is available and accessible. With a staff to resident ratio of 1:1, (19 staff to 19 residents) we have always got our eyes on our residents.
We are proud of our Good CQC rating in all areas, and we work fluidly and very well with Local Authorities, most of whom find themselves eager to give us positive feedback.
