About Us
**A Family's Best Friend LTD** is an award-winning home care provider based in Morecambe. Rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), our mission is to enable adults aged 18 to 64 to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. We are proud winners of the 2020 FSB North West Community Award, the 2022 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) Best Business, and the 2025 Lancashire Business Awards for Best Home Care Provider.
Our dedicated carers offer a wide range of tailored domiciliary care services, from companionship and personal care to support for complex health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical or sensory impairments. We support individuals with challenging behaviour, Down's syndrome, head or brain injuries, and those requiring condition-led care, including PEG feeding. Our team is trained and compassionate, able to provide everything from help with daily living and errands to meal preparations, medication assistance, and escorted trips into the community.
We recognise the importance of respecting individual faiths, values, beliefs, and dietary needs, and offer cultural support and a variety of menu options to cater for all requirements, including vegan, gluten-free, Kosher, and Halal diets. We are proud to offer LGBTQ+ inclusive care, pet-friendly staff, and both male and female carers to best match each client's preferences.
With prices starting from just £23.50 per hour, we accept self-funded clients as well as those with Local Authority funding (with or without top-up). Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one, our compassionate team is your family's best friend—dedicated to delivering respectful, flexible, and professional home care, right where you need it most.
