About Us

Phoenix House, is a 4 x bedded residential home located in the very peaceful and lovely area of Newcastle Under Lyme. Is close the towns of Newcastle, Etruria, Hanley, Longton and Wolstanton. There are a number of shopping areas, pubs, local walks and a park area nearby, with allotments. There is are 3 x local cinemas, a theatre within a 15 x minute walk of the home. There is a local bus service which serves all local towns and the surrounding areas.

The home has a very homely feel about it and we have received comments form families, professionals etc whom have noted "it is like home from home"

The home consists of: 3 x self contained flats, 1 x bedroom with en-suite, communal, kitchen and dining areas, off street parking, a homes vehicle, sizable front garden area. WIFI is provided along, with all bills paid, TV insitu and paid TV licence. Blue tooth speakers located in each room for the sole use of the person residing. The shower/wet rooms are fitted with sensor taps to sinks and sensor sensor flushes, the home has a ramped area for wheelchair access, a fob system in place for safety and security of each individual and also CCTV is in operation in all communal areas, in flats but only the lounge areas and also the external part of the home. The home has a seven seater vehicle for individual or group usage as required.

The home is staffed 24/7 with 4 x staff in the day (dependent on need of the individuals residing) and 2 x waking night staff. The Registered Manager/Nominated Individual is also on duty 5 x days per week and has worked across variouus streams of the care sector and has been a Registered Manager for over 28yrs.
