About Us
Support 4 Independence (S4I) is a specialist care and support organisation based in Northamptonshire, dedicated to empowering individuals with learning disabilities and additional needs to live meaningful, independent lives.
Established over 16 years ago, S4I was founded on the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, and participate fully in their community. Our work focuses on ability, creativity and potential, guided by our motto:
“Limited only by imagination.”
We provide a range of person-centred services designed to support individuals in developing life skills, independence and wellbeing.
Our services include:
• Supported Living
• Adult Day Opportunities – The Workshop
• Skills development and preparation for work
• Community engagement and social inclusion
• Practical life skills training
At S4I we focus on real experiences and meaningful outcomes. Individuals are encouraged to explore their interests, develop new skills, and gain confidence through practical activities and supportive guidance.
Our day service, The Workshop, offers a creative and skills-based environment where people can learn, create, and prepare for greater independence. Activities range from practical workshops and creative projects to digital skills and community activities.
We pride ourselves on creating inclusive environments where individuals are valued, respected, and supported to reach their goals.
Support 4 Independence works closely with families, professionals, and local communities to ensure every person receives the right support to thrive.
