The property comprises 18 bedrooms, 1 lounge, 1 dining room. 16 bedrooms are available for residents.
All of the bedrooms are fully furnished. There are no en-suite toilet facilities in the bedrooms, but the toilets and bathrooms are easily accessible.
You are encouraged to bring personal belongings and if you wish, even small items of furniture to personalise your room and help to make the house your home. As a regulation and safety to other residents, we request that electrical items are PAT tested before using them in the home.
There is also a big living room with a large TV and DVD player. We have a large garden which is easily access and disabled friendly. One side of the garden is kept as wild, and the other side is kept as a domestic homely garden.- Offer safe, secure, homely .supportive environment, in which the good quality of care, well-being and comfort of our residents is central part of Talbot Care Home’s philosophy.

-Offer skilled support to enable people who live here to achieve their optimum state of health, well-being and fulfillment of the individual’s needs, wishes, goals, dreams and aspirations.

- Recognize the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualized programs of meaningful activity to satisfy that need of the residents and staff.
-Ensure that all services delivered flexibly and in non-discriminatory and equal opportunity fashion and in line with comprehensive support plans agreed by the residents and/or their representatives.
-Encourage residents to develop their personal and social skills.
-Develop the creative nature of people who use our service and deliver a skilled home care service that encourages a sense of independence and enhanced quality of life to all the residents.
- Work in partnership with multi agencies Service Users’ network of services and support which contribute to the effective provision of care for each individual.
-Encourage and assist the residents to maintain contact with family and friends and their social network.
-Promote residents’ social inclusion in the wider community and encourage individuals to gain new experiences, relationships, interests, goals and life aspirations, where possible our creative support to lead our residents to progression of more independent lifestyle.

Talbot Care Home’s residents, people with or without mental health and/or learning difficulties or dementia , are entitled to live their lives which they desire as full as anyone else and as independent as possible.
