You can choose from a range of one bed apartments to suit your circumstances. You might be looking for an apartment just for yourself or perhaps you are a couple who would like a bit more space.

So that you can maintain your privacy and security each apartment has its own lockable front door. Every apartment is equipped with its own en-suite wet-room with shower, basin and toilet. There is a lounge with a dining area and well-designed kitchenette. Apartments are individually decorated and fully equipped with high quality furniture and furnishings including wardrobes, dining table and chairs, as well as an armchair for you to relax in. We also encourage you to personalise the apartment with your own furniture and possessions should you wish to. We want you to feel that you are in your own home from home, so having familiar things around you is important.

Constructed in the beautiful grounds of Balmore Country House, less than half a mile from the centre of Ruddington, The Ruddington offers a new approach to care home design. We have created a range of individual living spaces, giving you more choice and freedom in your daily lives than a traditional care home might. All our ‘rooms’ are apartments and include a lounge and kitchen area for your comfort and convenience. We want to give you more space, better facilities, and more flexibility about how you live your life.
Accessed by an impressive entrance hall and with many first-rate communal amenities, the home offers high-quality living and luxurious interiors, backed by high-quality care services, all day every day.

Our aim is to create a community where you can have privacy, dignity, and are able to do things for yourself should you want to. When you need help, we are there to provide that assistance. Included in all our agreements is 24/7 care and support, all meals, laundry, and a range of entertainment and activities for you to enjoy.

At The Ruddington we want you to feel that you are part of a vibrant community, and we have created a range of beautiful facilities for you to enjoy. The reception area is a lovely space, offering a warm and friendly welcome to every visitor. There are several seating areas where you can relax, catch up with friends and family and have a coffee or a chat. This space also incorporates a dining area, providing plenty of room for a family get together, perhaps for a Sunday lunch. There is a large and bright communal lounge for you to sit in at your leisure. If you like being pampered, there is also a fully equipped hair salon and nail bar.

Externally the home has a lovely courtyard garden. There is also a good-sized car park equipped with an electric charging point, which offers plenty of room for family and friends when they come to visit. Whatever you choose to do with your day we are confident there is a space to suit your needs.
