About Us

Welcome to EHC Cumbria—Compassionate, Personalised Home Care in Penrith

At EHC Cumbria, we specialise in delivering high-quality domiciliary care for adults of all ages in Penrith and the surrounding areas. Whether you require support for yourself or are seeking care for a loved one, our dedicated team is here to help you maintain dignity, comfort and independence in the familiar surroundings of your own home.

We offer a comprehensive range of care and support services, from personal care, medication assistance and companionship to specialised care for conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, challenging behaviour, sensory impairments and end of life. Our experienced and sensitive carers are fully trained to support adults over 65, as well as younger adults aged 18-64, adapting our services to meet individual needs, values and beliefs—including dietary and cultural requirements.

EHC Cumbria provides flexible care options, including single or double-up visits and respite care for family carers. We can also assist with rehabilitation, post-operative support, domestic tasks, escorted outings and pet care—ensuring not just comfort but real peace of mind. We proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and offer both male and female carers matched to your preference.

We accept funding from private individuals, Local Authority, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and top-up arrangements.

Let our professional, friendly carers provide the support you deserve—at home, where you belong. Contact EHC Cumbria today to discuss your needs.
