About Us

Hamilton House is a lovely period care home, which retains many of its original features. The buildings date back to the late 1800s and Queen Victoria used to stay here when she commissioned boats, something commemorated by a large plaque in the grounds.

The home provides both residential and nursing care for elderly people suffering from dementia and mental health problems and prides itself on its family atmosphere and caring staff.

The home was taken over by Darbyshire Care in late 2019 who operate other successful homes in the South West.
