Kepplegate House

Kepplegate Care Services is the area’s local domiciliary care service providing care exclusively to Hambleton, Stalmine, Knott End-on-Sea, Preesall and select areas in Pilling.
Our aim is to help preserve our service user’s dignity at home by offering practical support to maintain their independence. We do this by reducing the burden of everyday chores as well as providing the care and companionship necessary to make home life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Care packages can be single or double carer visits with flexibility on the length of time depending on what is required. Visits run from 7am until 10pm, 7 days a week.

Those who use our domiciliary care service have the option of personal care and/or practical support to create an individually tailored service which will meet their specific needs. Our personal care services include washing, dressing, bathing/showering, continence care and the assistance of getting up and going to bed. Some of our practical support includes meal preparation, light housework, shopping, and laundry.
End of life is something a lot of people do not like discussing but it is something that should be planned for. That’s why we also provide an empathetic and attentive end of life service ensuring that people can live out the rest of their lives as comfortable as possible in their own homes.

Take a Break… Our aim is to help those in need in the community where it may not be necessarily care related. Here at Kepplegate, our take a break service is here to help however it is needed. We can offer some good old companionship in the comfort of your own home to brighten up your day, we are here to assist in taking to any appointments which may be scheduled, accompany on trips out to a favourite lunch spot or even to help with the weekly shop. Whatever it may be, we are only a phone call away to discuss how we can be here for you.
Day Care… Alongside our residential and domiciliary care services, Kepplegate operates a day care service designed to prolong independent living for non-residents. Whether this provides cover for carers who need to be away for the day or to simply break up a daily routine, our flexible approach to day care allows for a day’s respite all whilst knowing at the end of the day, the day care visitor can return the comfort of their own home. Our day care service here at Kepplegate operates 7 days a week and runs from approximately 9:30am to 5:30pm, we may be able to accommodate outside of these hours slightly so please do get in touch with us to see if we can.
