Safe and Sound Homecare Services is a local, family run home care agency that has been serving the local community for the past 30 years. Initially started up by Stella Davies, who has now retired, the company is now directed and owned by her two daughters Eve-Marie Gulliford and Gemma Gamester
Eve & Gemma have been actively involved in the company over the past 25 years and are keen to keep that family run feel throughout Safe & Sound Homecare. ‘We personally know how the care of loved ones affects everyone involved and truly understand how it feels to be in that position of trust when it comes to choosing care for family members.’
Karen Graham is the Registered Manager of Safe & Sound Homecare Services. Karen has worked at Safe & Sound Homecare for around two years, she has a wealth of experience in the care sector, spanning over 25 years. Karen said ‘sharing the same values and understanding the importance of building trusting relationships makes it easy to be part of the Safe & Sound team. We have an outstanding group of carers who really do go above and beyond to ensure that our customers are safe and well cared for. We are constantly receiving positive feedback from customers, who really do appreciate and value what the carers do to support them.’
Our team all live locally, and this is important to us, to know the community that they work within, to know the local area and to be able to relate personally to our customers.
Our staff all receive comprehensive training and are all DBS checked – a process used to help prevent unsuitable people from working with those needing personal care and support services. We value all of our team and meet with them regularly. Our team all strongly believe in our values of being caring, compassionate and respectful.
