Welcome to Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, a warm and homely care home offering residential, dementia and nursing care for the elderly, located on the outskirts of Rushden in Northamptonshire. Here at Avenue House, we are proud to hold a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), upholding the highest standards of individual, person-centred care for all our residents.

We provide both short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia. We also provide respite care for elderly people to give their carers a break. Our home offers a range of personalised care services to meet the unique needs of individuals with conditions such as Parkinsonism, Dementia, Hearing and Sight Impairment and those requiring End of Life Care.

Avenue House is located on the outskirts of Rushden in a quiet residential location. The home was originally three large, detached residences, now joined together, extended and modernised to provide superb living accommodation with original features preserved. There are four beautiful communal reception rooms, including one featuring a well-stocked library and another with tea and coffee making facilities for residents to how their friends and family. The home has three gardens for all the residents to enjoy, with many of the rooms looking out onto one of these gardens. We have free onsite parking, with four electric car charging points for your convenience.

Room options include single rooms with en-suite bathrooms, with some twin rooms available for residents who prefer companionship. The majority of our rooms are on the ground floor, and all feature WiFi access, television points and 24-hour call facilities. All furniture and furnishings are provided, while we encourage residents to bring items to personalise their room and create a home-from-home.
