All care staff complete mandatory training before working independently. This includes safeguarding adults and children, moving and handling, medication management, infection prevention and control, health and safety, first aid, and equality and diversity. Our service works in accordance with the Care Certificate standards, and new staff are fully supported to complete the Care Certificate within the required timeframe. Where required by their role, staff also receive additional accredited training, including dementia awareness, autism awareness, mental health, learning disability support, and end-of-life care.
