Overview
Welcome to The Lyndale
At The Lyndale, we believe that moving into a nursing home should feel like gaining a second family. Set within a warm, traditional, and homely environment, we provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs.
We are proud to have achieved the Six Steps to Success in End of Life Care accreditation (2025), reflecting our commitment to dignity, respect, and the highest standards of care at every stage of life. Our experienced team works closely with multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure that every resident receives the very best medical, emotional, and social support.
Life at The Lyndale is about more than care—it’s about community. Our onsite activities co-ordinator organises a wide variety of regular activities, from quizzes and bingo to visits from Pets as Therapy, singing performers, and Tiny Treasures Equestrian therapy. We also welcome local children, Birkdale Hub Library, and Sefton OPERA, ensuring our residents remain connected to the people and places around them.
Fresh, home-cooked meals are prepared daily in our own kitchen, and our large dementia-friendly garden, redesigned in 2024, offers a safe and calming outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment.
Whether joining in with activities, enjoying the garden, or simply sharing a meal, residents at The Lyndale continue to feel part of their local community while receiving the care, comfort, and respect they deserve.
