About Us
Alton Manor Care Home has an excellent reputation in the local area, offering residential and dementia care for up to 34 people. We have a very simple philosophy - We don’t think anyone would want to put their family member where they wouldn’t want to stay themselves! We therefore ensure that our residents receive a high level of person centred care at all times, in a homely environment, where the resident becomes a member of an extraordinary family when joining Alton Manor Care Home.
There is a a well-established and friendly team of professional staff that supports the home and the its service users. The team specializes in creating person centred care and support for people with Dementia and Alzheimer's and we also offer short stay services such as respite care, reablement support and discharge to assess.
The Home regularly organise parties and events for our residents and their families. There are daily activities ranging from exercise classes to afternoon teas, gardening and much more which form an integral part of everyday life for residents.
We work in partnership with local commissioners and local authorities to implement new initiatives and promote value-based work in all of our homes.
