Awards
  • Women Achieving Greatness Awards (WAGs) 2025 - The Wellbeing at Work Award & Businesswoman of The Year Finalists Our Care Director Sarah Hurley was nominated for the Businesswoman of the year award at the WAGs Awards 2025. The finalist nomination was a reflection of her success in guiding our Hertfordshire branch to its third successive CQC-Outstanding rating, and her drive for innovation, championing the ELK Cushion Pilot scheme. The scheme successfully lifted 30 clients safely from the floor in the last year, reducing the need to call on already strained local emergency services. Our Care Worker Liaison Officers Alix and Michelle were nominated for the Wellbeing at Work Award for their dedication in supporting our care team, particularly in situations that can be emotionally challenging. Alix also supported our award winning companionship campaign, phoning clients, and matching them with a companionship volunteer.
  • GB Care Awards 2025 - Home Care Worker of The Year Finalist Abbots Care Worker Olesja was a finalist in the ‘Home Care Worker of the Year’ category at the GB Care Awards 2025. She was nominated for her dedication and support to her live-in client Nicki who has cerebral palsy. She was praised for her ability to problem solve creatively and her knowledge, ambition, and skill to aid Nicki in living an active and exciting life.
  • HCPA Care Awards 2024 - The Care Culture Award We are thrilled to have won the Care Culture Award at the HCPA Care Awards for a successive year!
