About Us

Chester House is a detached building privately owned in a residential area, situated on a main road within walking distance from shops, train station and the main village of Hazel Grove. The home is registered for 14 beds and specialises in care provisions for persons not less than fifty years with mental health needs.

Staff acknowledge that each Resident is a unique individual with differing physical, emotional and spiritual requirements. All Residents have the right to considerate, honest and respectful care. Our mission is to promote an environment and atmosphere as homely as possible. It is important that residents feel that Chester House is their home. Residents, their families, social workers and other professionals are encouraged to participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. We aim to offer an environment and quality of care that enables residents to enhance their quality of life and stimulate them to maximise their physical, psychosocial and spiritual well being.
