About Us
Welcome to Avens Care Homes, a family-owned care home in West Devon, specializing in dementia care of the elderly, a caring and homely environment where they feel comfortable, safe and secure. Camplehaye is a fine Victorian House with modern additions, set in beautiful grounds, in rural West Devon. Accommodation for up to 44 elderly residents, mainly in single fully furnished en-suite rooms. There are lots of communal areas and space within the home, we too have a large enclosed patio area. Camplehaye residents are supported by a multi disciplinary team the home has a GP practice designated and weekly Gp visits. We can also offer weekly hairdresser ,chiropodist ,opticians all by arrangement. A large varied activity schedule is ran daily this is tailored to persons needs and abilities. We offer communal dining or the resident can eat in their rooms if they choose, family too are invited to join for meals if they wish. As a care home we can offer intermediate care, respite care, day care, long term care and end of life care.
