About Us

Welcome to Eden House: A Home with a Heart
At Eden House, we believe that "care" is more than a service—it’s a connection. Nestled within a beautiful two-story period building dating back to the early 20th century, our home combines the architectural charm of the 1900s with a modern commitment to comfort and kindness. Recently joined by a new care provider, Eden House is entering an exciting new chapter while staying firmly rooted in the values that have made us a pillar of the community for years.
Our home offers a harmonious living experience, featuring 16 private single rooms and two companion rooms designed for those who find comfort in shared experiences. The property is surrounded by a sprawling, lush garden to the side—a tranquil haven where residents can enjoy the fresh air, engage in light gardening, or simply watch the seasons change from a favourite bench.
What truly sets Eden House apart is the extraordinary longevity of our team. We don’t just have staff; we have "family members" who have grown alongside our residents:
• A Culinary Tradition: Our Head Chef has been the heart of our kitchen for over 17 years, crafting nutritious, home-cooked meals that cater to individual tastes and evoke the nostalgia of a family Sunday roast.
• Leadership You Can Trust: Our Manager and Deputy Manager have been the guiding hands of Eden House for over a decade. This level of continuity ensures that every resident is known by name, every preference is honoured, and every family member feels heard.
Our "Family First" Philosophy
We pride ourselves on an atmosphere that is intentionally warm, friendly, and welcoming. Unlike larger, clinical institutions, Eden House maintains a "family feel" where laughter is a common sound in the hallways. We treat every resident with the same dignity and affection we would show our own parents or grandparents.
Whether it’s a quiet afternoon in the garden or a lively morning in the lounge, Eden House is a place where you aren't just moving into a room—you’re coming home.
