Micado Homes, Drayton Lodge is a residential care home situated at 47 West Drayton Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 3LB in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

It is designed to accord a 24-hour, 7 days residential care service for six male adults aged 18 years and above with history of mental health needs. We specialise in the care of service users with forensic backgrounds, thus discharged on Licence conditions, (Probation Service), on Sec 42 of MHA’83, (Ministry of Justice) or a Community Treatment Order (CTO) into the community, requiring medium to high levels of support in developing, maintaining, and progressing their independent living and functioning to their optimum. Despite our speciality in forensic psychiatry, we also admit service users with generic mental health needs.
At Micado Homes, Drayton Lodge, our philosophy is that for an individual to live and function to their optimum, they need to be supported wholly, giving regard to their physical, psychological, social, cultural and religious needs.

• Value the uniqueness of each service use. Conduct thorough assessment of service users’ abilities and needs, offer support and encouragement tailor made to achieve realistic goals and aspirations by systematically planning care as indicated by the Care Programme Approach framework, enabling and tactfully implementing and continuously reviewing these plans with service users’ involvement and the collaboration of expert professionals and families/carers (with service users’ consent).
• Provide a high-quality service within a homely setting.
• Offer support in developing maintaining and progressing service users independent living/functioning to their optimum.
• Emphasise on the right of the individual with associated responsibilities for determining their own lifestyle.
• Encourage and motivate service users to live a meaningful life by providing stimulating activities within the home and support each individual resident in pursuit of appropriate activities which are socially included as libraries, gym, adult education, and other activities sourced by their activity coordinators.
• Ensure the provision of a high standard of support and care provided by competent and skilled staff.

Drayton Lodge has always had a 'Good' rating from the CQC since its inception over 15 years ago.
