About Us

Devoted Care Agency Ltd is a domiciliary care provider based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, delivering high-quality, flexible, and person-centred care to individuals within their own homes and local communities. We specialise in supporting people who require practical assistance, emotional reassurance, and ongoing care to live safely, independently, and with dignity in familiar surroundings.

Our service is designed to meet the needs of elderly individuals, people who are housebound, and those living with physical, sensory, emotional, or health-related challenges. We also support individuals who require short-term assistance during recovery from illness, injury, or hospital discharge, as well as those who need longer-term or ongoing support to maintain their independence at home.

At Devoted Care Agency Ltd, we believe that remaining at home plays a vital role in preserving well-being, confidence, and quality of life. Familiar environments, routines, and community connections are central to emotional stability and independence. Our care services are therefore built around enabling individuals to continue living in their own homes for as long as possible, with the right level of support at the right time.

Our approach to care is holistic and centred around the individual. We recognise that no two people are the same, and as such, care should never be one-size-fits-all. Before any service begins, a comprehensive assessment is carried out to understand each person’s physical needs, emotional well-being, lifestyle, preferences, routines, cultural background, and personal goals. This information forms the basis of a personalised care plan that clearly outlines the support required and how it will be delivered.

Care plans are developed collaboratively with the individual and, where appropriate, their family members or representatives. They are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain relevant, responsive, and aligned with changing needs or circumstances. Individuals are encouraged to be actively involved in decisions about their care, maintaining choice, control, and independence at all times.

Our tailored support includes assistance with personal care, daily living activities, medication support, companionship, and emotional reassurance. Personal care is delivered with sensitivity and respect, ensuring privacy and dignity are maintained at all times. This may include assistance with washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence care, and mobility support, always provided in line with individual preferences and abilities.

Support with daily living activities enables individuals to manage their home environment safely and comfortably. This includes assistance with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met, support with eating and drinking where required, light household tasks such as laundry and cleaning, shopping, and help with managing daily routines. Where possible, individuals are encouraged to participate in tasks themselves to promote independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose.

Medication support is provided safely and appropriately, in accordance with individual care plans and current best practice. This may include medication reminders, assistance with administration, and accurate recording. Care staff are trained to recognise changes in condition or potential side effects and to report concerns promptly, ensuring continuity of care and safety.

We also recognise the importance of companionship and emotional well-being. Loneliness and social isolation can have a significant impact on mental and emotional health, particularly for individuals living alone or with limited social contact. Our companionship support offers meaningful interaction, conversation, reassurance, and encouragement. This may include accompanying individuals to appointments, supporting social engagement, or simply spending time providing company and emotional support.

Devoted Care Agency Ltd provides flexible support for individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, including those transitioning from hospital back to their home. Our recovery-focused support aims to rebuild confidence, encourage independence, and reduce the risk of readmission. Support levels can be adjusted as recovery progresses, ensuring individuals receive the right amount of assistance without unnecessary dependency.

A central principle of our service is the promotion of independence and overall well-being. We actively encourage individuals to make their own choices, maintain their skills, and remain as independent as possible. Care is delivered in a way that supports physical health, emotional resilience, and social inclusion, recognising that well-being extends beyond meeting basic care needs.

Our care staff are carefully recruited, trained, and supported to deliver high standards of care. We place strong emphasis on professionalism, compassion, reliability, and respect. Staff receive ongoing tr
