About Us

Rosewood Lodge is a home in the area of Weston Super Mare, which is situated by the sea side and we have the capacity to accommodate 20 residents. Rosewood Lodge has a 'Good' rating from CQC. Rosewood Lodge offers long and short stay services. Respite care, rehabilitation and reablement support and dementia care.
Rosewood Lodge residential care home offers a warm and caring environment for our elderly residents, whilst respecting their wishes for individual privacy.
: Rosewood Lodge has twenty bedrooms which are all individually decorated, with en-suite facilities across three floors. Stair lift available.
: Rosewood Lodge offers a secure environment where all rooms are equipped with an emergency call system, ensuring residents have a prompt response to their needs.
: We have two sitting rooms and a dining area, which are very spacious and well furnished.
: Visitors are encouraged and welcomed with refreshments.
: We are under the care home hub umbrella from 168 Medial surgery, which ensures fast affective treatments, continuity with the GP's and weekly in house visits.
: All of our meals are home made and prepared on the premises. We use fresh meat and vegetables which are all sourced from our local suppliers and all dietary requirements are catered for.
: We welcome all relatives and friends to join their loved ones for dinner if they wish to do so. All we ask is you let us know in advance, so we are able to make the appropriate arrangements.
: We encourage our residents to pursue hobbies and leisure activities as much as possible. We provide various in-house activities, therapy and entertainment, which are available for those wishing to participate.
: We provide Comprehensive short and long-term care, carefully designed to meet the needs of each individual.
: Residents personal laundry will be undertaken by our staff, with the exception of garments requiring dry cleaning or hand washing.
: Other services which visit our home are as follows, Chiropodist, hairdresser, optician, Dentist and Audiologist. However their fees are not included in our fees.

Privacy - Our rooms are private and residents have the right to be undisturbed if they wish. Staff must always knock before entering a room.
Independence - Residents have the right to lead an independent life, as far as possible and we will endeavor to meet all individual needs and preferences.
Choice - As far as possible residents may choose the way they would like to be cared for, what they want to do each day, when to get up or go to bed, what activities to join and what to eat or drink.
Dignity - We promise that our staff will at all times show sensitivity and respect towards our residents.
Care plans - Car Plans pay a significant role in ensuring we meet the individual needs of our residents. Our approach encourages each individual to maximize their physical and mental potential and to be fully involved with the care planning.
Standards - Quality is of paramount importance and care standards are constantly monitored through residents and relatives feedback, as well as through frequent comprehensive audits.
Complaints - Complaints are an important source of feedback and we encourage residents, relatives and staff to tell us about anything which they feel is unsatisfactory - A full response is promised.
Staff quality - Staff are encouraged to develop their professional skills and maintain the highest standard, through a process of assessment and training which ensures best practice at all times.
Our home - We aim to provide a safe and pleasant environment where activities and interests can be pursued and residents are able to feel comfortable and at home.
